Got an employment law question that you’ve been wondering about? Perhaps there is a specific employment law issue that’s got you stumped.

This is a rare opportunity to get some insight from Tompkins Wake’s specialist employment team. Ask them anything!

Our facilitator will present your questions to our panel, who will provide their thoughts, answers and opinions on the day. About our Panel

Karina McLuskie

Karina has established herself as a true employment law specialist, working with clients to protect their commercial interests and providing pragmatic advice to manage and mitigate risk. Karina's employment practice includes advising clients on preparing and interpreting employment documents, industrial relations and collective bargaining, health and safety matters, organisational restructuring, medical incapacity, employment relationship problems and dealing with contentious issues that arise in the employment relationship, including advocacy at all levels of the dispute.

Fiona Dalziel

Fiona is an employment law specialist with particular expertise in Holidays Act compliance and minimum employment entitlements, regularly assisting clients with large-scale remediation work and arrears claims. She is also well versed in providing her clients with practical assistance through employment processes (including restructures, disciplinary, performance-related and medical incapacity processes) and in raising and resolving their employment relationship problems. Fiona has been heavily involved in providing covid-19 related advice over the past several years.

Michelle Urquhart

Michelle acts on a wide range of employment, immigration and ACC matters, making her the “go to” lawyer when any of these areas cross over. She is adept at helping clients navigate the trickier aspects of immigration applications. She represents parties in employment disputes and has a particular interest in resolving issues via mediation. She also provides independent employment investigation services.

Cancellations and Refunds

To receive a full refund cancellations must be received by HRNZ by email to [email protected] two working days before the day of the event.

Cancellations after this time and/or 'no shows' on the day will be payable in full.
