CANTERBURY BRANCH: Covid-19 Vaccinations in the Workplace
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Region: Canterbury
- Venue: Duncan Cotterill Plaza
- Address: 148 Victoria Street, Christchurch 8013
The issue of mandating vaccination in workplaces has dominated the news and the minds of HR professionals across New Zealand for weeks.
As the country prepares to move to a new COVID-19 Traffic Light system, employers need to understand their obligations and options when it comes to managing the risks associated with COVID-19 in the workplace.
This seminar will explore the following issues:
- *Can employers require their employees to be vaccinated if they are not covered by a Public Health Order?
- *How to carry out risk assessments to determine whether a role should be performed by a vaccinated worker?
- *Balancing the Bill of Rights, Human Rights and Employment Rights with Health and Safety obligations.
- *Implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy in your workplace
- *Visitors, Contractors and new hires – can you mandate vaccination?
- *Navigating the new Traffic Light system for your business.
5pm for networking, with the presentation beginning at 5.30pm
Duncan Cotterill has now introduced a policy requiring all visitors to their office to be double vaccinated from 1 December 2021.
