CANTERBURY:An Employment Law Perspective on COVID-19 Testing & Vaccinations

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedent challenges for workplaces all over the world. Most recently, discussions are being had over the rights and obligations to test and vaccinate employees in the workplace. This discussion requires an assessment of employer’s obligations under the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act, the Employment Relations Act, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.

In this seminar, the Lane Neave employment law team will cover these key pieces of legislation and break down what employers’ rights are with regards to COVID-19 testing and vaccinations in the New Zealand workplace.
