HAWKES BAY VIRTUAL | Menopause and support in the workplace
- Duration: 1 hour
- Region: Hawkes Bay
VIRTUAL EVENT organised by Hawkes Bay Branch, but open Nationally to all
Menopausal women* are the biggest and fastest growing workforce demographic, however startling statistics show that this group are leaving employment in droves, reducing working hours, are battling severe mental health issues, are big users of sick leave and struggle with being supported in the workplace as they experience symptoms that have such a large impact on their working lives.
This session aims to demystify and grow understanding of a natural life stage that impacts 51% of the world’s population. As employers we can create workplace cultures, policies, practices, and development experiences that better support those going through peri-menopause and menopause.
Got a Question? Please ask Bronda any questions at time of registration so she can work them into her session. Alternatively you can email Bronda direct [email protected]
*we recognise that some trans, non-binary and intersex people will also experience peri-menopause and this conversation aims to include all.
This event will be held online via Zoom. A joining link will be sent the day prior to the event.
