Bobby Lloyd, Co-founder of Reusabowl

Bobby Lloyd is a tactile person who loves the built environment and finding creative solutions to everyday problems. His career spans commercial property, furniture making, sustainability consulting, and now running a start-up. When not working, Bobby can be found surfing or skating, jewelry and leather making, or enjoying local eateries and art.

Jacinta Gulasekharam, Co-founder of Dignity

Jacinta Gulasekharam is an impatient, impact driven social entrepreneur and connector. She co-founded Dignity, a social enterprise with a mission to deliver period equity and has created access to over 60,000 sustainable period products. The Positive Periods campaign she led resulted in the government committing to free period products for students in NZ. She works full time in the Human centered design consulting team at PwC Wellington bringing the human voice, perspective and aspirations to all her client projects. In her spare time she volunteers as a First Foundation mentor and lends her experience to grow the startup ecosystem.

Jacinta is an 2021 Wellbeing Impact Award winner, Young New Zealander of the Year Finalist, Women of Influence Young Leader Finalist 2019 and Sustainable Business Network Change Maker Finalist 2020.

Laura Nixon, CEO and Founder of Solid

Laura is the CEO and founder of Solid, a toothpaste company from Tītahi Bay. Laura is a former dental professional with a mission is to stop the 16 million toothpaste tubes that go to landfill in Aotearoa every year. Solid make a range of toothpaste, tablets, powder and more that are vegan, cruelty free and have no palm oil. Everything is packed in glass bottles and jars that can be reused and returned. Solid was a finalist in the 2021 Sustainable Business Awards ‘Going Circular’ awards, is certified Carbon Positive by Ekos and is a recent graduate of the Creative HQ Climate Response accelerator programme. Most recently Laura was a 2022 Soda Inc, Rise Up finalist, celebrating female entrepreneurship in Aotearoa. Laura is a problem solver, inventor, toothpaste formulator, tinkerer and amateur engineer and she is happiest when in the lab designing out waste in oral care. Solid have now saved 30,000 toothpaste tubes from landfill. Let’s change the way we look after our teeth!

Oliver Hunt, CEO of Medsaly

Oliver Hunt is Founder and CEO of Medsalv, a nationally recognised company leading New Zealand's healthcare sector towards a more sustainable future. Founded in late 2017, Medsalv works with the majority of New Zealand's surgical hospitals and has been nationally and locally recognised in the Circular Economy, Business for Good, and Hi-Tech spaces.
