About our Presenters

Dr. Maree Roche (Raukawa): Associate Professor at the University of Waikato, a specialist in psychological wellbeing at work with focus on kaimahi Māori, will further kōrero to her rangahau, and the model Whiti Te Ra, as featured in the Spring 2022 edition of the HRNZ Magazine.

Pua Phillips (Ngati Ruanui/Ngati Tiipa) and Gail Bosmann-Watene (Ngai Tuhoe): SME – Wellbeing for Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

"We will present an insightful session on how our organisation commits to employee wellbeing through “Tauora” - our uniquely indigenous wellbeing programme at Te Wananga o Aotearoa. We look forward to sharing with you some of the evidence of 10+ years of ‘Tauora’ benefits for our national tertiary institution servicing over 1400 staff. Also, be prepared to leave this session with some ‘Tauora Tips’ that you can keep in your wellbeing kete and share with others."
