This webinar is part of the 2022 series of regular Employment Law Updates being provided to HRNZ Members. This Update will be hosted by Duncan Cotterill. You’ll hear about any upcoming legislative changes that may impact your organisation and get to hear about significant cases or trends currently impacting employers.

There will also be time for questions and answers.

John Gray-Smith, Solicitor

John is a Solicitor in Duncan Cotterill's Employment team. He works with a number of employer clients, ranging from small businesses to large corporates, across a variety of industries. He advises on a range of issues including disciplinary and performance processes, restructuring and redundancy, restraint of trade issues, and assisting with the defence of Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court claims. He also has experience assisting employee clients in raising concerns and negotiating exits and settlements.

Jeremy Ansell, Senior Associate

Jeremy is a Senior Associate in Duncan Cotterill’s employment team and has practised employment law for 10 years. He primarily advises employer clients on all aspects of employment law, including the resolution of personal grievances, dealing with tricky staff behaviour and performance issues, restructuring processes and compliance matters. He has represented clients in the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court. He also has experience assisting clients with investigations and professional discipline (Law Society and Education Council) matters. He often provides media commentary on employment law matters.

Cancellation Policy

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the webinar starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the webinar.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the webinar.
