2022 has been a roller-coaster year for HR practitioners and employers hoping to employ migrant workers, with numerous policy changes to contend with. The border reopening has been great news for some, but the new Accredited Employer Work Visa system has brought a number of challenges, both in terms of managing the system itself, but also in terms of seriously limiting the ability to secure work visas for low and mid-skilled roles. Rachael Mason, Immigration Specialist from Lane Neave will provide a comprehensive summary of the current state of play in the immigration space. The session will include a summary of the key policy requirements for the main work visas that employers can make use of and insights and tips gained over the early months of the new system. The session will address issues such as:

  • A summary of the main work visa categories available to employers and how they can be utilised
  • Focus on Accredited Employer Work Visa applications and some do’s and don’ts when making applications
  • Summary of potential policy changes to be aware of in 2023 and how to best prepare for those
  • What steps employers and HR professionals can take now to make the most of the system

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the webinar starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the webinar.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the webinar.
