2021 has been a challenging year for employers of migrant workers, with constant (and significant) changes to the rules and the continuation of the closed border creating significant resource constraints. In this webinar Lane Neave will provide a comprehensive summary of the current state of play for employers of migrant workers and will look ahead to what 2022 is likely to hold in store. The session will include insights and advice on the likely impacts of the latest policy developments on employers and migrant workers, a look ahead to the introduction of the new system next year and advice about how employers can prepare for 2022. The session will address issues such as:

  • A recap of the significant policy developments that have been announced during 2021, including the new 2021 Residence category
  • Comments on the border exception process
  • Information about the new accreditation regime – what do we know about the likely criteria, timeframes etc?
  • What steps can employers take now to prepare for the new regime coming in 2021?

What participants will gain from the webinar: An up-to-date debrief for HR professionals and employers on the latest immigration policy developments and how they impact your ability to recruit and retain migrant worker staff.

There will also be time for questions and answers.
