Recent data shows that there is an overall gender pay gap of 17.7% in New Zealand. More than ever before, it is imperative that organisations examine the gender pay gap within their organisation and take steps to close the gender pay gap that exists across many of the industries we work in.

Join us for breakfast as we enjoy a productive, practical session with Michelle Gapes from Strategic Pay, where you will learn why pay equity is important, the common causes for how a gender pay gap can exist and how you can take action within your HR / People & Culture team.

About our Presenter, Michelle Gapes

Michelle is responsible for the delivery of total reward and broad based remuneration services to clients across the Northern Region of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In a variety of roles, she has developed and audited remuneration systems, policies and strategies, managed the remuneration review process, facilitated training workshops; project-managed implementation of job evaluation and remuneration systems for client organisations. Michelle has also managed one of the NZ’s largest remuneration projects implementing a new framework, expanding a year and involving 10,000 employees. A big thank you to Michelle for guiding us through this session, as we enjoy breakfast and learn together.

Payment

Fees will be due for payment in full prior to the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

To receive a full refund cancellations must be received by HRNZ by email to branchevents@hrnz.org.nz two working days before the day of the event.

Cancellations after this time and/or 'no shows' on the day will be payable in full.

Appropriate substitutions are welcome - please email branchevents@hrnz.org.nz with their details.
