Over 30,000 people take parental leave every year and for those people it is a transformational time in their life. Whether you are coming back to work for the first time, the second time or the third time, there are big feelings in play. How am I going to do it all? Can I even be a good parent and a good employee? What will happen if I leave the office at 5pm every day?
How an employer supports their employee at this transformational time in their life, can make a real difference to their engagement, retention, and advocacy. Join Emma Mclean, CEO & Founder of Works for Everyone, as she presents five ways that you can improve your parental leave experience so that it becomes one that smooths the way for your employees as they return.
Emma will traverse a lot of ground in this webinar. Including, how an employee is “re-boarded” back into their role, the importance of scoping reduced hour roles and the different initiatives that are in play to encourage men to take up parental leave. During the webinar she will draw on her 25+ year career in Corporate Marketing roles as well as her most recent experience since 2019 as an Executive Coach working with parents who are returning to work.
This webinar is great for People Experience leads, Heads of Diversity & Inclusion, Organisational Culture leads and HR Business Partners. Especially, if you are planning on reviewing your parental leave policy soon, this webinar is for you. It is jam packed with ideas and inspiration on how you can design an employee experience that will stand out from the crowd and get your employees telling their coffee group friends that they should work for you.
What Participants Will Gain from This Webinar:
- You will feel more informed on what other companies are doing in the parental leave space.
- You will leave with practical ideas you can use the next day to improve your parental leave experience.
- You will leave feeling inspired to make your parental leave experience one that can differentiate you in the employment market.
