Presentation by Rachel Hopkins, CEO, Diversity Works

Diversity Works CEO Rachel Hopkins will offer unique insights into how organisations of all sizes are building more inclusive workplaces and tackling the challenges of equipping their people managers with the skills to get the best from diverse teams.

About our Presenter

Rachel Hopkins, Chief Executive, Diversity Works New Zealand, BA LLB, FCIM, CMInstD

Rachel is committed to equity and empowerment for all New Zealanders. She is Chair of the Ministry for Youth Development Partnership Fund, an independent director of crowdfunding platform PledgeMe, and sits on the establishment board of the Auckland Foundation's Women's Fund and the UN Women's Empowerment Principles Committee for New Zealand.

Rachel has owned her own marketing business in Sydney and worked for an international law firm in London. In New Zealand, she has held various executive leadership roles in professional services, education and training.

Rachel was the Executive Sponsor of the Competenz Maori and Pasifika Steering Committee and founding Chair of collaborative industry training initiative Got a Trade? Got it Made? designed to promote trades careers to young people, particularly young women.

Rachel has degrees in Law and Feminist Studies, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and studied Design Thinking at Stanford University. She sat on the Board of NZX listed AWF Madison Group as part of the IoD Future Directors Programme and was the recipient of the 2016 IoD Emerging Director Award for Auckland.
