The engagement and retention of older workers is a major concern for organisations and has been an increasing focus for human resource management.This seminar will explore how organisations can approach the retention and engagement of older workers and discuss the potential for perceptions of age discrimination to negatively influence these outcomes.
About our Presenter
Associate Professor Bevan Catley, School of Management, Massey University
Bevan is a member of the Healthy Work Group at Massey University, which is a multidisciplinary team of researchers interested in psychosocial factors in workplace health and safety. Bevan’s primary research focus is on workplace bullying and workplace violence and he has published extensively on these topics in a number of international journals. Bevan is also a board member of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management.
