Welcome to 2020! Please join Otago Branch and National President Denise Hartley-Wilkins

Otago branch first event for the year is centred around connecting with your fellow members and friends of the Institute and discussing how you can make the most of your membership or association with HRNZ. We are privileged to host the HRNZ National President, Denise Hartley-Wilkins for this event and she will share her insights into the 2020 vision and initiatives that may benefit you.

And of course, this will be a great opportunity to re-connect with your HR colleagues from the region after a not-so-hot summer break. We look forward to seeing you there!

About our Presenter, Denise Hartley-Wilkins, HRNZ National President

Denise is the National President, Board Director and Chartered Fellow of HRNZ.

In her day job, Denise is the Director of Shine People Consulting, a Nelson based people & OD practice working nationally across New Zealand. In a career spanning more than 25 years she has worked from the shop floor to the board room, developing people strategy and leading complex transformational projects in diverse industries in New Zealand, the UK and Canada. Described as ‘knowing her stuff’ she specialises in workplace culture, developing leaders that people want to follow and building teams that hum nicely. As a presenter for the flagship HRNZ Foundations programme she is active in developing next generation HR folk.

Denise is also is a Chartered Professional member of the CIPD UK, an accredited Business Mentor and writes for Employment Today, People Management and Management magazines.

HRNZ Members: to receive the member discount please log in to the HRNZ website FIRST and register through the BUY TICKETS link in the event listing. This will give you access to your member discount.

Non members can register through the BUY TICKETS link


Fees will be due for payment in full for each branch event, and are non-refundable unless cancellation has been confirmed by email to at least two working days before the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

To receive a full refund cancellations must be received by HRNZ by email to two working days before the day of the event.

Cancellations after this time and/or 'no shows' on the day will be payable in full.
