This half-day course will be delivered online via Zoom. It is limited to 25 registrations to ensure you get the most out of this session.

Economic upheaval is a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many employers are facing the difficult and challenging position of potential restructuring that may lead to redundancies.

This half day course provides a step-by-step guide to initiating a restructure and following a proper process that complies with legal obligations.

We will consider what constitutes “genuine reasons” for restructuring and redundancy decisions. Find out what is required to justify a decision for restructuring and redundancies, and alternatives to such proposals, such as through Government assistance.

Learn how to navigate through a restructuring process that requires a full understanding of your legal responsibilities.

We will take you through the necessary steps to restructure your business, including considering options such as redeployment. We will consider relevant case law decisions and current issues relating to COVID-19.

Discover how to help staff affected by restructuring, such as through career transitioning.

This course is a useful guide for HR professionals, managers and business owners to managing restructuring and redundancies. It is a refresher in employment law obligations, and will cover issues pertinent to COVID-19. Cancellation Policy

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the course starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the course.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the course.
