In this webinar Lane Neave’s immigration experts will provide an introduction to New Zealand’s immigration system and its practical use for employers. The session will include an overview of the system, the main work visa and residence categories, common pitfalls, practical tips and do’s and don’ts, and compliance requirements for employers and HR managers.

This webinar will provide a comprehensive summary of the main visa categories that employers need to be aware of when managing migrant workers and will also cover compliance requirements.

This webinar is aimed at providing HR professionals with a good understanding of the immigration system and key obligations that employers of migrant workers should be aware of. It will be helpful for all HR professionals but especially those who have recently joined the HR profession and/or for those who have moved into roles where they now have responsibility for migrant workers within their workforce.

Rachael is qualified in New Zealand and England & Wales and has practised exclusively in the area of immigration law for a number of years.

She works with both multi-national corporate clients and smaller local employers across a wide range of industry sectors in managing their global and local migrant workforces, and developing and maintaining compliance and legal right to work policies. Rachael is focused on providing high quality technical immigration advice that is both pragmatic and commercial. She also works with private and high net worth clients in relation to individual immigration and citizenship applications.

Rachael regularly presents to HR and other professionals regarding key immigration policy changes and issues related to recruiting and maintaining an immigration-compliant workforce.

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the webinar starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the webinar.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the webinar.
