ACC plays a crucial role in supporting both employees and employers following an injury, in terms of both compensation and rehabilitation assistance. Many employees and their employers benefit from the ACC scheme every year. Injury management and rehabilitation can be a complex area for employers and HR professionals alike , especially when balancing other employment and legal requirements in addition to the ACC process. A good understanding of how to work in partnership with ACC and employees throughout the injury support and rehabilitation process is essential to achieving good outcomes.
