Join us for the Workplace Climate Panel: Thoughts from NZ Business Psychologists

This panel session is focused on delivering expert insights into some key areas related to national and global organisational change. We are bringing to you a panel of psychological experts who will be sharing their insights on the climate of New Zealand organisations.

We will be taking a macro and a micro level focus which aims to inform both leaders and their teams on how to navigate this successfully. Using psychological insight grounded in experience and best practice, we hope that our participants will walk away with information that they can use to inform organisational and team decision making.

About our Panelists

Tamara Sallis, Genesis, Registered Organisational Psychologist (Culture and Development)

Tamara Sallis is a Culture and Development Consultant at Genesis Energy and has been a registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist for 14 years. With a passion for helping people be their best, Tamara enjoys working with individuals, leaders, teams and the organisation as a whole to implement initiatives that enhance the employee experience at Genesis. Tamara worked as a Consultant for 10 year, lectured postgraduate psychology for 3 years, and has been working internally in various corporate organisations for 7 years.

Megan Jenkins, Southern Cross Health Society, Registered Organisational Psychologist (Change Manager)

Megan Jenkins has 20 years’ experience as a Registered Organisational Psychologist and began her career as a Psychologist in the Navy while she has enjoyed various internal and consulting roles in NZ and the UK. Completing the Prosci® change management qualification in 2018, she now blends this with her organisational psychology background to build change capability with teams and leaders in her current role in Southern Cross Health Society.

Jonathan Black, Farsight Global Consulting, Chartered Organisational Psychologist

Jonathan Black is a Chartered Organisational Psychologist and founding director of Farsight Limited. Jonathan started his career as a Psychologist with the New Zealand Police. His work traditionally revolves around occupational health, risk management, communication and performance coaching. Jonathan has been involved with various emergency agencies over the years as a Consultant Psychologist and was heavily involved with assisting businesses and staff respond and recover from the Christchurch earthquake cluster 2010-2011, the March 2019 Christchurch mass shooting.
