NORTHLAND BRANCH: A Holistic View of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

There has been an increased interest and focus on diversity and inclusion recently as organisations seek to find ways to manage their culturally diverse workforce. The increased uptake of unconscious bias, cultural intelligence and inclusive leadership courses highlight the growing interest and focus in ensuring that everyone can ‘bring their whole selves’ to work.

Whilst there is emphasis on the visible dimensions of cultural diversity in organisational initiatives, leadership development and diversity and inclusion strategies, the evidence points to the hidden/deeper dimensions of diversity that make or break teams. This session explores the complexity of cultural diversity, looks at how to understand the visible ‘behaviours’ that show up in teams and organisations, and identifies several strategies that may help business owners, employers and managers of people.

By the end of this session, participants will: - Have increased awareness into the complexity of the world of cultural diversity; - Understand how different behaviours may be shaped by values, beliefs and worldviews; - Take away insights to identify and navigate cultural diversity within teams and organisations in a way that the culturally diverse teams become high performing intercultural teams.

We look forward to meeting you on the call!
