Jocelyn and Georgia will explore the personal attributes needed to be successful and the skills and capabilities required in becoming an HR practitioner. They will also enlighten you about the things that may surprise people about the role of an HR person.

About our Presenters

Jocelyn Visser found her passion for developing people, recruiting talent, and coaching leaders after working in retail management for several years. She graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in HR, from Massey University and had been working at Manawanui, a disability support organisation, as a part time administrator. With a combination of hard work and being in a young organisation which was growing rapidly, she quickly worked her way up to her current role, People and Culture Advisor.

Georgia Hope is a strong human resources professional currently working as an HR Administrator at Paymark, across many areas including wellbeing, L&D, HRIS management and Reporting.

Georgia is passionate about people and the HR space, and being relatively new into her HR career, she is motivated to learn and develop professionally.
