Join Rob McCann who will be delivering training on White Ribbon’s accreditation programme.

Rob McCann will be delivering training on White Ribbon’s accreditation programme, which can then be delivered by yourselves, to your managers. This is one of the three steps in having your business White Ribbon Accredited.

The purpose of White Ribbon Business Accreditation is to engage more businesses in effective violence prevention.

Internationally and locally, businesses have been identified as environments in which to prevent violence because:

  • *family and sexual violence has a direct cost for businesses, through staff absenteeism and turnover, and loss of productivity
  • *employers have health and safety responsibilities for the safety of staff, including the risk of violence in the workplace
  • *actively preventing violence can improve staff morale and drive greater productivity
  • *supporting anti-violence initiatives enhance the business’s reputation as a good employer, an ethical organisation, and active supporter of the local community.

Please bring your own lunch. Tea and Coffee will be provided.

All fees collected will go back to White Ribbon to cover travel costs

About our Presenter

Rob McCann has been managing White Ribbon since 2009. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the White Ribbon Campaign including marketing and communications.

Payment

Fees will be due for payment prior to the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

To receive a full refund cancellations must be received by HRNZ by email to branchevents@hrnz.org.nz two working days before the day of the event.

Cancellations after this time and/or 'no shows' on the day will be payable in full.

Appropriate substitutions are welcome - please email branchevents@hrnz.org.nz with their details.
