You’ll hear about any upcoming legislative changes that may impact your organisation and get to hear about significant cases or trends currently impacting employers.

There will also be time for questions and answers.

Jessie Lapthorne, Partner

Jessie is an employment and health and safety specialist, providing strategic and pragmatic advice to a broad range of clients in New Zealand. She has extensive experience in employment law, in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and is an experienced advocate, having represented clients in the Employment Relations Authority, the Employment Court and the District Court.

Jessie works closely with clients to guide them through difficult situations and is recommended for providing advice that is pragmatic, commercially driven and relevant. She takes the time to understand a client’s business, to ensure advice is targeted and well suited to meeting their needs.

Alastair Espie, Senior Associate

Alastair is a specialist employment lawyer in Duncan Cotterill’s Auckland office, and provides strategic advice on a broad range of workplace issues for a number of New Zealand’s most significant brands. He regularly represent clients at mediation, in the Employment Relations Authority and in the Employment Court.

Alastair has recently been advising clients impacted by COVID-19 to ensure employers and workplaces are meeting their obligations to employees.

Cancellation Policy

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the webinar starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the webinar.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the webinar.
