Psychological safety is the number one factor that drives high-performing teams. Leaders who understand the language of trust and how to build trust – both of themselves and between team members, will create an environment where people can thrive and perform at their best.

High-trust teams enable staff, as they’re no longer distracted, uncertain or worried about their position within the team dynamic, instead they feel secure, supported and confident and therefore able to get on with achieving their objectives.

A high-trust environment creates a dynamic where positive conflict is welcomed – leading to better outcomes, as people can have courageous conversations and respectfully share their opinions. These more robust discussions ultimately fuel innovation, higher engagement and a stronger commitment to decisions.

In this session you'll discover:

  • Why trust is vital to create a thriving team, especially when faced with change and uncertainty.
  • Discover the four pillars of trust and how to increase the trust equation.
  • How to avoid the ‘fatal flaw’ and build more trust through your leadership style.
  • Be introduced to the Emotional Culture Deck and improve your communication skills and enhance emotional intelligence
  • Look at how inspirational leadership can foster a culture that supports wellbeing and performance, and the key role you have to play within that.
