Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a ‘best practice’ approach to providing emotional and practical support to anyone who is in distress. This one-hour webinar has been adapted from our seven hour face to face course to include: What PFA is; Tools to help people, by using the 5 elements specifically relating to COVID-19; The Action Principles of LOOK, LISTEN, LINK. PFA builds organisational and community resilience plus the capacity to respond well to events in the workplace or community.

Facilitated by Cate Keville - New Zealand Red Cross

Cate Keville is the Psychosocial Team Lead for NZRC based on Wellington. She has been with NZRC for over ten years with an education and training background. Cate not only leads a team of facilitators throughout the country, she's also a delegate who has worked in the pacific providing psychological first aid in a disaster.

Cancellation Policy

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the webinar starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the webinar.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the webinar.
