Cameron Bagrie is an independent and insightful expert on financial markets.

At the helm of Bagrie Economics, a boutique research consultancy, Cameron is a highly sought after economist frequently quoted and sought out by the media for his credibility to tackle tough economic issues and his direct, straight-talking approach.

Prior to setting up Bagrie Economics he was Chief Economist at ANZ for 11.5 years. Under Cameron’s leadership the ANZ Economics team was consistently ranked number one for analysis of the NZ economy across the business and financial community. During his time at ANZ Cameron became well known for his forthright and straight-talking approach, never afraid to put the hard economic issues on the table. That approach continues at Bagrie Economics.
