About the role

The Electricity Authority is an independent Crown entity that regulates the electricity market. We are the kaitiaki of electricity. Our purpose is to enhance New Zealander's lives, prosperity & environment through electricity.

We are looking for a high performer who is passionate about recruitment and keen to get stuck and take ownership of the Authority's end to end recruitment. You are someone who develops strong and collaborative relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders to ensure we continue to deliver excellent recruitment service and experience.

As a vital member of our People and Capability team you will use your drive, experience, and creativity to deliver a high quality and value-added recruitment service to our hiring managers. You will advise hiring managers with policy and processes, designing and developing appropriate recruitment strategies that help managers, to build their capability. This will include providing education and training on recruitment best practice and producing reports with meaningful management information. Some experience in the public sector is advantageous but not essential.
