The Opportunity:

Tuapeka Gold Print is looking for a HR Administrative assistant to join our hard-working HR team.  Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support across the broad spectrum of Human Resources. As this is an entry level role you will have the support of our wider HR team with a day in the life of the successful applicant including but not limited to:

  • Providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and wider HR team.
  • Ensuring Hard and Soft copies of employee records are accurate and up to date
  • Processing documentation relating to personnel activities
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new starters, organising new starter packs, and administering lockers
  • Dealing with first-level employee queries, requests, and questions regarding human resources issues, policies, rules, and regulations

What you will bring to the table:

You will be a people person, have great communication skills, a drive for success, and an interest in developing your career in HR. You will be at the start of your career in HR having either completed or nearing completion of an appropriate tertiary level qualification or have been working within a role with translatable skills. Other attributes that will assist you in this role include:

  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise and organise work in an efficient manner
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Confidence in using Microsoft applications including Excel
