HR Advisor - MASH Trust
Information
This is a broad generalist HR Advisory position in the People and Culture team and while the work will mainly be in the HR/ER space the role will also work as required across the other functional areas.
The HR Advisor will be allocated a MASH functional area and caseload and will provide advice, support, and guidance to managers within that area with support and mentoring provided by Senior HR Advisors and other P&C specialists.
About You:
You will be towards the start of your HR career, probably with an HR or similar qualification, be in an HR Coordinator or Advisor role and looking for your next career move. To be successful you will have:
- Some work experience in an HR/ER function within an HR group
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- A “can do” attitude combined with a team player working style
- An understanding of Rec/ HR / ER and OD principles and practices
- Excellent IT and computer skills
- Strong client service ethos
- A willingness to take on advice, mentoring and feedback
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with staff and managers
- Ability to work under pressure and manage ambiguity and complexity
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and Te Reo Māori
