Positive People is an established and progressive HR Consultancy providing proven professional, practical HR leadership and support to a cross section of New Zealand businesses and organisations Successfully operating for over 25 years, we bring a partnership approach to HR. We are growing at a rate and need an HR professional who can deliver across the full HR spectrum. We have a diverse client base across all sectors which offers plenty of variety and opportunities to grow and develop your HR skills.

We want to talk to experienced HR professionals who are looking for genuine flexible work hours or who are wanting to return to the workforce. Working around 15-30 guaranteed hours a week (but we can be flexible here), the ideal person will have the ability to scale their hours to suit. 

You will have::

  • Good generalist HR experience at a mid to senior level
  • Be able to hold your own at all levels
  • HR leadership ability
  • Comfortable making decisions
  • A proven track record of giving sound advice  and implementing solutions which support organizational goals and improve productivity and engagement
  • Solid ER knowledge and experience and able to manage difficult situations sensitively, but also confidently
  • Organisation Design & Development experience
  • Confidence in both facilitating and leading training in group situations
  • A good understanding of practical HR solutions
  • A committed, positive and meaningful approach to your work
