HR Graduate: Human Resources Administrator - MyHR

Who's MyHR? We’re awesome!
MyHR takes HR to the next level. A 100% Kiwi-owned biz with a wicked offering that our clients love. In English, this means we provide HR consulting and support at a fraction of the price of traditional providers, making quality HR and ER support available to more small and medium businesses around NZ, Australia, the UK and Singapore, but we’re far from boring.

Why work in an HR call centre for 6 months, just to be made redundant, when you can work for MyHR and not only work with some of the craziest (read: intelligent, witty, hilarious) team but work with clients like NZ WARRIORS, HUSKI, & SPORT NZ. We not only survived COVID without any redundancies but we grew our team.

Whether you're a new grad, have a year or two of experience under your belt, or are looking for a career change, our fast-paced, high volume and collaborative environment is the best place to be for up and coming HR professionals.

Okay, so what's the job?
An established business supporting over 2,000 clients we've hit the accelerator and are growing like crazy. We're looking for an HR Administrator to join The Best HR Team In The Country™ in our newly renovated office in Avondale.

You're bright, ambitious, and keen to develop and hone your employment relations and HR knowledge in our fast-growing team. Ideally, you'll have spent time on the phone with customers or clients, and you'll know how to balance professionalism with a human touch. A relevant tertiary qualification is ideal, you’ve worked hard on your education now let us grow your experience.

Our workflows are fast paced with strict deadlines, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is imperative. We have smashed through over 60,000 employment agreements. You’ll be flexible, curious, and hungry to prove your capability, which means you’ll thrive in our varied and busy business.

In return, you’ll be supported by a friendly team who are as committed to your success as you are - we all pitch in to help when someone has a hefty workload for the day. Regular and informal catch-ups and stretch feedback from your team lead will help you hit your professional stride.

You’ll get exposed to more in a year with us than in three years with in-house teams, so professional development is a matter of "when" not "if".
What's the work I’ll actually be doing?
After a bit of induction and training, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering high volumes of employment documentation for our clients, particularly employment agreements (our e-signing function saves 18,000 pages of paper every month!)
  • Providing pragmatic advice to clients about employment law on every topic under the sun (think annual, sick, bereavement and unpaid leave; trial period law; medical terminations; disciplinaries; restructures; pragmatic people management and more)
  • Helping managers navigate the software and make the most of their MyHR subscription
  • Answering the wild and wonderful questions our clients call in for
  • Maintaining top-shelf banter and repartee with your colleagues and clients
  • Working hard when we're busy, and enjoying the office vibe, dart board & 80’s arcade game when we're not

Who would I be working with?
Reporting to our Team Leader (Admin), you’ll be working with an HR team of 15 (including you), made up of HR Administrators and Advisors. With an overall team of 55 we’re still a  close-knit group with a vibe that’s all our own, so a strong cultural fit is a must.

This sounds awesome; sign me up!
Wicked. Apply through SEEK with your CV, cover letter, and a photo of you doing something you love.
