The Opportunity:

Tuapeka Gold Print is on the search for an experienced HR Coordinator or emerging professional to join our hard-working HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of end-to-end recruitment and working with our existing HR team members to assist with wider HR tasks. A day in the life of the successful candidate may include:

●           Responding to applicants and employment enquiries via various channels

●           Screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, providing feedback to candidates regarding their applications and ensuring a positive candidate experience

●           consulting with management to ensure staffing requirements are met

●           Conducting references and administering pre-employment checks

●           Being the first point of contact for all recruitment-based queries

●           maintaining recruitment files and updating our database of interview, recruitment, and selection templates

●           Assisting with other day-to-day HR tasks as a member of the wider HR team

What you will bring to the table:

You will be a people person, have great communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural passion for recruitment and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a high-performing team. It would be essential for you to have prior experience in Human Resources, with specific preference for recruitment, whilst an appropriate tertiary level qualification will also assist in your application but is not essential.

Other attributes that will assist you in this role include:

●           Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise and organise work in an efficient manner

●           A results driven attitude

●           Ability to maintain confidentiality

●           Confidence in using Microsoft applications and Excel
