People and Capability Advisor (Fixed-term, 12 months) - Waikato District Council

Who are we looking for?

We are excited to have someone new join our People and Capability Team! Someone who can embrace our great culture and add value to our fantastic team. You need to be that special person who can apply good process, is adept with legislation and is also willing to push the boundaries and get seriously involved.

The role is fixed-term as one of the Team is having a baby! We are looking for someone who enjoys a laugh, doesn't take themselves too seriously and loves to be surrounded by knowledgeable people.

As this won't be your first rodeo, we are looking for someone who has 3 - 5 years of experience. You might have been an operational leader and enjoyed the human resource part of the role, or you may have a more traditional HR career path. Whatever your background, you'll have a solid knowledge base, can fit in with the team and hit the ground running to support our organization to be a great place to work - which will be easy because it already is!

If you can think outside the box, are comfortable across the spectrum; from admin to influence, have a good foundation but want to experience more; then this is the role you need to apply for!
