People & Culture Advisor - Nelmac

We have a great opportunity for an HR practitioner to join our People & Culture team in a permanent Advisory role.  You may be wanting to grow your existing advisory experience further in a diverse and growing business, or you may be a seasoned practitioner wanting a sea-change for the New Year with flexible working arrangements.  We can offer both full time or part time options and we're with a supportive team focused on delivering great service.


This is a permanent role working collaboratively with our Business Partner and Recruitment Specialist. We support our People Leaders by providing advice on policy and procedure and solutions to build capability, performance, engagement, and retention. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in People & Culture and organisation-wide projects.


We’re keen to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience operating at an HR Advisor level offering astute advice with sound knowledge of NZ employment legislation
  • Keen interest in organisational development
  • Previous experience in a unionised environment would be beneficial
  • A customer-focused approach
  • Effective ability to plan and prioritise work demands
