People & Performance Advisor – Fiordland/Rakiura - RealNZ


Our People & Performance team are focussed on supporting the RealNZ group of experiences to create an environment that puts our people at the heart, embraces the individual and challenges them to strive to achieve their role and career ambitions.

The People and Performance Advisor will be pivotal in supporting change and creating a supportive environment that drives exceptional employee experiences and delivers our business objectives. This is a key support role to both our leaders and the wider HR team.

As part of this role you will support the People & Performance Business Partner with:

  • Providing timely and quality generalist HR support and advice to leaders and employees on employment matters
  • Deliver quality project work as required in line with the People strategy & People -calendar
  • Develop and maintain high quality documentation and support the provision of accurate and timely reports to managers
  • Support the delivery and development of P&P policies and ensure practices comply with all relevant legislation and audit requirements
  • Keep current with common and best practice developments and trends in human resources management

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Te Anau office, however our experiences operate across the lower South Island so you will be required to travel across Fiordland and Southland on a regular basis.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience operating in an HR environment, with proven knowledge & expertise in HR practice and process
  • Foundational understanding and experience in employment-related legislation, employee relations and knowledge of human resources methodologies and techniques
  • Experience administering and delivering project work
  • Skilled in the use and management of HR systems, such as HRIS, Payroll and ATS software
  • A positive and can-do attitude is essential, alongside organisational skills, great attention to detail and excellent time management
