Chartered Members are champions of the HR profession in New Zealand. The Code of Practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) commitment encourage high standards of professionalism from New Zealand HR Professionals.

The chartering process is aimed at experienced HR professionals in mid-level or senior roles and wanting to demonstrate their capability to progress into a more advanced role.

The simplified 5 Step application process is outlined in the Chartered Membership information booklet  and the “How to Apply” section. HRNZ staff, mentors and members of the assessment panel are here to help you get started with your application.
