HR Business Partner - Asset Recruitment Ltd


Part Time / 25-30 hours per week

Our client is a privately owned, large production company based in TeRapa and they provide a shared service function for a number of other companies in their group.  They are market leaders in their respective fields, progressive, forward thinking and ambitious. 

An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join their team to support all businesses in the group.  This ensures huge variety and scope in the position and an opportunity to partner with some outstanding leaders.  Your key deliverables will include:

  • Executing the people strategies across all businesses
  • Building the reputation of HR and demonstrating its value
  • Managing the HR Information System
  • Overseeing and reviewing all people and employment policies
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and execution of initiatives that further improve the company culture
  • Developing and implementing an effective remuneration framework
  • Supporting proactive employment relations across the group
  • Maintaining an effective training system and competency matrix
  • Participating as a key Health & Safety and Wellbeing  champion
  • Coaching and influencing broadly within the group
  • Actively promoting the industry to attract new employees and school leavers

With extensive experience in HR, you will impress us with your knowledge of NZ Employment Law, change management skills and experience,  and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.  Familiarity with manufacturing/production will be an advantage but is not essential.  This is a great opportunity to work with a group of companies who place huge importance on their people, their safety, career development and job satisfaction.  The hours will be worked across 4-5 days ideally.
