The New Zealand Law Society (NZLS) is the professional body for barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. Established in 1869, NZLS regulates all lawyers practising in New Zealand, and is the membership organisation for practicing lawyers. With 13 branch offices throughout the country, NZLS is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the public, the profession and the law of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager this role is responsible for building partnerships with managers and staff to deliver a broad range of human resources functions. Specifically, this will include organisational culture, change and engagement programmes, remuneration and performance management, talent and succession management, and learning and development.
This role requires a passionate and experienced human resources generalist with a well-developed knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment, remuneration and change management processes. A commitment to partnering and supporting the business to achieve the best possible strategic HR outcomes is essential. Prior experience in developing HR systems and processes would be beneficial. You will be a critical thinker who is solutions-oriented, with a strong drive for excellence.
