Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi
We recognise collaboration is crucial for authentic change and it’s no wonder SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, is incorporated through all areas of sustainability. We are proud to have partnered with organisations who are making impact towards the SDGs, while providing opportunities for our members to work with them (check out our partnerships below).
Partnership, Protection, Participation:
As we build on our bi-cultural strategy, we are actively weaving the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi through our practice. We acknowledge partnering with Tāngata Whenua is fundamental to ensure we can build in mātauranga māori to encourage inclusive HR practice. As a starting point, HRNZ hosted “Transforming HRM in Aotearoa” in October 2021. This was a pilot programme aimed to provide HR practitioners with an opportunity to develop their HR practice that directly and intentionally benefits Māori employees, recognising Māori as Tāngata Whenua o Aotearoa and Treaty partners. To give everyone the opportunity to learn about this important mahi, we collaborated with Te Puni Kōkiri, offering sponsored placements to attend the programme.
Our on-going partnerships are oulined below.
