Liability Insurance Scheme

Leveraging the collective group buying power, HRNZ and Rothbury Insurance Brokers have developed the HRNZ Liability Facility which provides exclusive benefits to HRNZ members.

In addition to discounted premiums, the facility provides several free coverage benefits either not offered elsewhere in the market, or where available, with additional cost. These benefits add meaningful, practical protection for HRNZ members who insure their liability exposures through the facility.

The HRNZ Liability Facility provides cover for Professional Indemnity, Public, Statutory and Employers Liability and other policies – some of these may not be relevant and these covers do not need to be taken (Rothbury will provide advice on this). We can also advise on and get options for policies like business motor, contents and mobile electronic (laptops tablets phones etc) cover with excesses starting from $100.

About Luca

Luca specialises in liability cover for professionals, backing up specialised and technical advice with negotiated market leading liability products.

Working in the insurance industry since 2008, and having started and sold his own broking company, he understands some of the challenges business owners face. Joining Rothbury in 2020 saw him move into an assistant leadership and training role for two years while capacity was built in the branch which he has now moved back from; “Managing people successfully is a unique skill, I take my hat off to those who do it day in, day out – HRNZ Professionals for example!”  Insurance can be seen as just an invoice and a promise to pay when it’s really needed- Luca aims to make the process as painless as possible appreciating that everyone is busy and short on time, but he won’t skip the fine print – that’s his role and he loves it.

Whilst Rothbury has an HRNZ Liability Facility designed to meet the needs of most HR and Recruitment Consulting business, they don’t assume it’s the best fit. Policy Coverage and value is checked for alignment each and every time. Part of their initial review would find out what you do, how you do it, and what they can do to improve your current situation. They will let you know if they are in a position to provide you with a better offer. Rothbury do not ‘sell for the sake of it’ - in the first instance they review your needs and whether or not they are being met, and only then look at whether or not they can help.
