TRIPBLO - SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL

What have you been doing to action the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at work, at school, or at home? Please specify which SDGs these actions connect to?

2019, Tripblo was an idea for a group of multi-national students from the UK, The Netherlands, Rwanda, China, and New Zealand to collaborate on a sustainable travel service for Vietnam. This proposal was based on United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals and the team submitted it to Global Enterprise Experience hosted by Victoria University of Wellington. We aimed to create a local tour service hosted by Vietnamese ethnics, educated by local minorities, and promote the host country's diversity. Our purpose is to improve the economy of the remote regions, create cultural awareness, improve poverty within developing regions, and above all, make education more assessable for the young generation from the minorities. In summary, Tripblo was aiming to take action on Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth for underdeveloped and developing countries.
