The HRNZ Academic Branch Committee are keen to understand more about your work and interests in Human Resources Management (HRM) or related fields and ways to engage with HRNZ. Please answer a few questions in this short online survey. Your answers will be anonymous but will help us build a picture of where we should be heading with the HRNZ academic branch.

The Academic Branch of HRNZ exists to facilitate mutual engagement between HR professionals and the academic community. The branch committee is under new leadership and is going through a review of our activities and programmes. We are keen to understand more about your work and interests in HRM or related fields and your attitudes to engaging with HRNZ.

The major undertaking that we have focused on recently has been to align the requirements of Chartered Membership for HRM academics with those of HR practitioners. This is because the role description of an Academic Member is different from that of a practitioner but of equal weighting.  This project has now been completed and agreed to by the branch committee, HRNZ Board and CEO (Nick McKissack).

In short, academics can now also apply for Chartered Membership through a bespoke Academic application pathway. We are very much interested in your thoughts on this.
