We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Advisor to lead our site HR Team based in Katikati, Tauranga.
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is a true generalist position, managing all HR, Health & Safety and Payroll functions, with a key focus on recruitment, employee relations and injury management.
This role is also responsible for managing the site office administration and staff services functions.
You’ll need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment to be able to respond effectively to the many challenges of our seasonal business. Most of all, you will need to be resilient, as this is a busy and varied role where no two days are ever the same!
You’ll need:
- Previous experience in a human resources or office management role.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle HR related matters in a discreet and confidential manner in accordance with best practice.
- Effective time management and planning skills.
- To work to tight deadlines and make sound decisions when working under pressure.
- A high level of computer literacy including experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and using payroll/HRIS systems. Experience in monitoring and managing a roster system covering a day and night shift would be an advantage.
You will also need the ability to be flexible with the highs and lows of seasonal work, which will include extended hours and weekends especially during our peak season.
