In April 2024, Immigration New Zealand announced significant changes to the Accredited Employer Work Visa Programme. In June, these changes will have been in place for around two months. At the same time, many employers will be needing to renew their employer accreditation status over the next few months, so now is the perfect time to get a good understanding of this process and the potential issues to be aware of.
Now that some of the ‘dust has settled’ on the changes, join us for a focus session where we will address:
- the key changes to be aware of in regard to sponsoring migrant workers/securing AEWVs and accompanying employer obligations
- insights on what these changes are likely to mean for employers and migrants
- discussion of the accreditation renewal process and issues to be aware of when making these applications
- tips, tricks and common pitfalls to look out for when engaging with the visa process
There will also be time for questions and answers.
The event will begin at 5.30 pm with drinks and nibbles, followed by the seminar from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
Due to the in-person nature of the event, space is limited, so please register as soon as possible to guarantee a place.
