  • Accreditation and Chartered Membership: Nick McKissack will provide an overview of the chartering process. Barbara Daxenberger, an HRNZ chartering assessor, will share insights from the assessor’s perspective, while Fauve Barrett will offer an applicant’s view, giving you a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate the process successfully.
  • The Path: Learn about "The Path" and how it can support your professional growth within HR in NZ.
  • HRNZ Resources and Training: Explore the wide range of resources and training available to members, and discover how to maximize these opportunities for your development and career advancement.

Presenter Details

Barbara Daxenberger: People and Capability Director, Tonkin+Taylor

Barbara Daxenberger works as P+C Director for Tonkin+Taylor and has been a member of HRNZ since she moved to New Zealand in 2019. She’s become a chartered member in 2021 and has been a chartered membership assessor since May 2023.

Fauve Barrett: Human Resources and Health & Safety Consultant, Findex

Fauve Barrett lives in the beautiful Queenstown for the last six years and has recently started with Findex as a Human Resources and Health & Safety Consultant. As a newly Chartered HRNZ Member in September 2024 she had the pleasure of experiencing The Path framework in action.

Nick McKissack: CEO, HRNZ

Nick has been the Chief Executive of HRNZ since July 2018. He’s been leading the organisation through a period of change and modernisation since his appointment. Nick started his career in human resources roles at New Zealand Post before moving into general management roles with QV and Te Tumu Paeroa. His interests lie in the development and implementation of strategic change
