Mental Health Awareness Week - Day 2: Albany Massey Loop Walk

Mental Health Awareness Week: 23 – 29 September 2024

In support of our own community here at HRNZ we have come up with a schedule of events where those who are available gather with an opportunity to form new connections and build on those already existing all with a view in maintaining good mental health and human connections.

We are social creatures, and we need people around us more than ever.  Even those that need less human connection than some, a safe environment and opportunity to connect with likeminded people we hope will deliver a great experience all. We aim for these to be outdoors over an hour.
 

Day 2: Albany Massey Loop Bush Walk
Join us for a refreshing bush walk during mental health awareness week!

We are excited to invite you to take a break and reconnect with nature. Join Anel and Emil who will be leading the way on a revitalising 7.5 km walk; a perfect way to unwind, clear your mind, and boost your well-being.

This scenic walk takes you along a tranquil stream, winding through beautiful New Zealand bush, with towering palms and majestic totara trees lining the path. The walk starts and ends at Kell Park and will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy the serenity of the surroundings, and take some time for yourself
