Kick off Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori with an engaging session on how Te Reo Māori learning can create an inclusive environment for all staff in your organisation.

Dale Harding-Thomas (Ngāpuhi) will share the journey that Waipapa Taumata Rau – the University of Auckland has undertaken to revitalise Te Reo Māori in its spaces, and to activate manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and kaitiakitanga across its people and culture practices. Learn more about the rich meanings behind these Te Reo terms, and discover how they can enhance equitable and culturally responsive HR practices.

As a part of this session, you will be invited to experience ReoSpace. ReoSpace, opened in July 2024, is a dedicated space for the use and practice of Te Reo Māori, and it is open to all staff, students and community members. All levels of learner, from absolute beginner to expert, are welcome in ReoSpace.
