HRNZ Q/A
Describe your product or service and what it delivers
Optimism is a learning strategy and design company, delivering bespoke learning and performance solutions to develop people capability.
Our purpose is: “Making it easy for people to be great at their roles.”
We combine conventional methods with digital learning technologies for maximum impact and measurable results. And we favour a scenario-based approach.
What size business or organisation does your product/ service suit?
We mostly partner with leading businesses and government agencies to build capability in their core business operation or industry.
We may be redesigning the induction and training of central roles for better, faster results, embedding key changes in policy or process, or addressing aspects of unsatisfactory performance or results.
For other clients we may be developing online learning packages for delivery to their external audiences (whether end-users, agents or resellers, franchises or paying customers).
What kinds of organisations may be interested in your product/ service?
Organisations who need a bespoke solution to support capability within their core business (or to upskill a particular audience).
Organisations partner with Optimism either because they don’t have the specialist expertise or tools inhouse, or capacity for a larger project, or because they want a better way of doing things.
Most of our clients come to us for:
-
Induction – from company-wide through to role training
-
Technical skills – within a role, trade, profession or field
-
Health & Safety – in relation to an industry or role.
What does your standard product cost? Are there annual licensing costs? How are these structured?
We don’t offer standard products because we provide bespoke solutions targeted to achieve the outcome you want. Give us a call to discuss what you want to achieve and we will propose a solution that’s right for you and your situation.
Is your product an off the shelf solution, or does it require customisation?
If you can buy it off the shelf, you don’t need Optimism!
Would you be able to provide example customers/ organisations who would be willing to allow site-visits for potential customers to view a demonstration of the product or service in action?
We have lots of case studies and references on our website, and we are more than happy to provide verbal referees when needed.
