What led you to a career in HR/ the position that you are in currently?   

I have always been in Admin roles, so HR was a natural progression for me. 

What do you love about working in HR?   

Being able to help people with knowing their rights when interpreting legislation. 

What is an achievement so far in your career that you are proud of?   

NZ Diploma in Business 

What are your thoughts on the Accredited Professional Member process?   

The process was simple and straightforward. 

Do you plan to now work towards becoming a Chartered Member?   

Yes, I would like to work towards this.  

What are your next steps in terms of your career?   

Continuing with Professional Development in HR, with on-job exposure to different scenarios, e.g. complaints, Personal Grievances.
