I’m here to help grow HR professionals and I hope that our mentoring partnerships are reciprocal where we both learn and grow together. I have extensive HRM generalist experience and can help develop people in HRM strategy, including commercial and business acumen. My current role is the Executive Director People and Culture, (Pouārahi Whakawhanaunga me te Ahurea). I lead People and Culture strategy for the Waikato institute of technology a tertiary educatoin institute. I have worked in leadership roles for over 20 years acorss banking and education.
My Gallup strengths are Relator, Arranger, Individualisation, Intellection, Learner. I’m an accredited conversational intelligence practioner and an Emotional Intelligence coach (Roche Martin EI leadership). I obtained my CMHRNZ in 2015 and have been mentoring with HRNZ since 2019, I am an HRNZ assessor for chartered member applications. I was nominated by my employer for the 2019 HRNZ manager of the year and was successful in receiving this award from HRNZ.
