PG, Chief People Officer - Auckland
About
Kia ora,
I am passionate about creating meaningful relationships and unlocking potential, regardless of any obstacles. My areas of interest are the future of work, employee experience, people-centric workplace culture and diversity and inclusion.
I began my HR journey in New Zealand in the early 2000s after working in the hospitality and tourism industry in customer service, I moved to the UK for an extended working holiday, where I studied HR through CIPD and gained experience with a large international corporation in L&D, sparking my passion for developing people. I returned to NZ and in 2016 joining HRNZ, becoming Chartered in 2019. I am a mum of two and currently in the role of Chief People Officer and have lead the company through an enormous amount of change and transformation. I volunteer on the HRNZ Auckland Branch and the Chartering Assessment Panel, in 2023 I received the HR Director of the Year award at the HRD Awards.
I can support mentees navigating change, looking to develop their career further, find work life balance and set their priorities. I am excited to build a rewarding mentoring relationship where we can both exchange insights and learn from each other.
